Vaccine Titers

• As a clinic we follow the most recent vaccine guidelines to minimize over vaccination. However, we do offer vaccine titer blood tests to determine if pets need their vaccines boosted.
• Titers are more expensive than routine vaccines but are a valuable test to determine if repeat vaccines are needed and can help minimize over vaccination.
• Titers are available for the following vaccines:
• Dog- parvovirus, distemper, and rabies
• Cat – rabies
• Over vaccination has been linked to auto-immune diseases in cats and dogs. Minimizing vaccines is always our first preference, but making sure your pet is protected is critical.
